Tricia Kinley executive director
Tricia Kinley has worked for nearly 20 years in around the state capitol in Lansing, primarily in advocacy. She comes to IAM after serving as External Affairs Director in Gov. Rick Snyder’s administration where she facilitated support for the governor’s agenda, coordinated outreach efforts throughout the state and ensured stakeholders had a connection to the governor’s office. Prior to that, Kinley was Senior Director of Tax and Regulatory Reform for the Michigan Chamber of Commerce.
Dyck Van Koevering, general counsel
As general counsel, Dyck is responsible for monitoring and analyzing the approximately 300 bills that are introduced every session in the Michigan Legislature which affect IAM's members. Dyck was previously general counsel for the Insurance Institute of Michigan. He also has several years experience lobbying in Washington, DC. Dyck is a graduate of Hope College and Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
